With its clean, understated look, the CT791 is one of the more underrated silhouettes in the New Balance stable. Thankfully the low-tops are getting their due as the beloved Boston brand has tapped BAIT for the brand new Select Program.
Featuring elevated, premium takes on the design, the release employs wolverine suede uppers and premium leather tongues as custom brushed metal “N” logos decorate “Powder White,” “Excalibur” and black colorways. To mix things up a bit, asymmetrical gold and silver logos have been applied to the black and white colorways while the “Excalibur” sports gunmetal.
Limited to just 100 pairs (including the exclusive “Excalibur” look), the Select Program will drop in a special three-pack for $360 USD while symmetrical editions of the black and white colorways — with either gold or silver branding — will be available individually for $120 USD per pair. While all the kicks are available via an online raffle, the symmetrical black and white renditions will hit BAIT’s seven flagship locations as well.
A release is slated for March 19 while more information on the raffle can be found on BAIT’s website.
