Renowned boutique Parisian boutique colette may be in the City of Lights, but it’s never been an inward-looking, French-centric endeavor — which helps explain its enduring popularity over the past two decades. Case in point: colette’s latest collaborative endeavor. Linking up with ASICS in celebration of Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo, the Parisian spot has put a distinctly Japanese spin on the GEL-Lyte V. Appearing with the boutique’s signature blue hue, each pair is highlighted by Yukata-inspired patterns — one in printed leather and two-toned mesh, the other in embroidered leather.

Both pairs, complete with two sets of waxed laces and the usual ASICS branding, are slated to hit a special UNITED ARROWS & SONS pop-up shop — which will be chock full of ASICS models selected by colette’s own Sarah Andelman — beginning October 17. Following the initial release, the shop itself will remain open through October 22.
