That’s right, Adidas decided to add luxury to luxury by adding a Gum out-sole to the Boost mid-sole unit.

Some would say they got the idea from Nike, but whoever thought it up deserves major points with it.

A Green/Blue mix up brushes over the the Primeknit sock upper which, like most of the Uncaged range we have seen, generates a two-tone woven look.

The colours become more independent further up the shoe. For example the lace section shows more of the Green colour scheme where as the sock trim offers a solid section of both colours.

The front portion of this colorway does still have the open work weave as with the rest of the range, but the colours blend so tightly that it’s hardly noticeable.

We are a fan of all knit work sneakers whether it be Primeknit, Flyknit or Jacquard they all deliver a great appearance just like these.

The rear quarter is where things get familiar with a support back board on the heel unit this time in a matte Blue.

Ultra Boost branding comes in the same metallic form as we have seen in most pairs with a silver/gold combination.

A couple of things we haven’t really focused on in the Uncaged series are the added touches from Adidas.

One being 3 stripes on the inside of the front panel stretching into the centre which features on every pair all be it hard to see on some due to the colour scheme.

The second is an Adidas stamp which is on the out-sole but actually appears at the toe cap of the shoe.

So this is where it gets interesting, forget the Boost mid-sole for a second and focus on the awesome Gum out-sole.

Often referred to as toffee the Gum bottom of the Uncaged is noticeable from every angle due to it wrapping up front and the rear.

Of course the people behind the rubber out-sole has their stamp on it in black which doesn’t really detract from how neat the bottom of the shoe really is.

Although this Gum edition doesn’t have an official live date as yet we are working on it and have the exclusive images and relevant info.
