New Balance has partnered with four of Europe’s foremost sneaker retailers—Scotland’s Hanon, Barcelona’s 24 Kilates, Stockholm’s sneakersnstuff and Berlin’s Firmament—to revamp the company’s EPIC-TR sneaker. Each boutique produced its own custom colorway of the new silhouette inspired by the stores’ respective home cities. Since the EPIC-TR takes its inspiration from NB’s EPIC football boot, it should come as no surprise that the Boston-born company turned to the madcap football fanatics at MUNDIAL to produce a bespoke magazine that comes with each pair of sneakers. The limited-edition mag lays out New Balance’s footballing heritage while also showing the care and quality materials that went into each distinct pair.
MUNDIAL shot the lookbook by visiting each of the sneaker boutiques on home turf, taking photos of staff as they wandered around their respective home cities. Check the visuals out above.
The collection will launch at the above stores as well as select stockists on June 11.
